Shimla, a capital of Himachal Pradesh of Indian Country is very much famous among tourists for its beauty. The Shimla city is situated in the North-West Himalayan Mountains fully covered with snow peaks and green hills all around it. It is placed at an elevation of 2159 metres above the sea level which enhances its beauty at double. The city was famous with the name of Summer capital of India during Britisher’s rule. - Jakhu Hill (the highest peak at 2455 metres of the city covered with beautiful mountains all around, provides the best panoramic view of the city. The Jakhu hill is famous with the Indian ancient story that the Lord Hanumanji stopped here for some rest while carrying a hill of Sanjiwani booti to save a life of Laxman during the time of Ramayana. - Chail (a small town build up of woods and fine walks, with dense forests and placed at an height of 2250 metres above the land and around 45 kilo metres away from the town. This small town has the utmost cricket ground all over the world.)
- Kufri (is a most encouraging place for the winter sports and activities because it is fully covered with ice, located at the 26mm metres above the land and around 16 kilo metres away from the town).
- Kamna Devi (is also famous with the name of Prospect hill, one of the most famous picnic spots among tourists. It is located at 5 kilo metres distance from the town with 2145 metres height.)
- Mashobra (a beautiful picnic spot in Shimla, covered with dense forests which always attracts tourist to have walk in the dense oak and pine forests. It is places at an height of 2159 metres and 13 kilo metres away from the town and mainly famous for the apple orchards.)
- Tara Devi (a famous and beautiful temple placed on the top most hill of the Shimla with an height of 2100 metres and 13 kilo metres away from Shimla.
